Album Artists not working

Hi, for some reason when i select the artist tab is does not show Album artist but shows artists. am i doing something wrong?

Did you enable the "album artist" option in settings / browsers / artist browser settings?

HI, thank you for replying. yes i checked the album artist box but it still uses artist rather than defaulting to album artist.
