Audio Channel Balance doesn't work with android 10

Channel balance works with older phone, but on 2 different android 10 phones the channel balance doesn't do anything until to get to 0% and then it will cut off the channel. Turning it back up from that point doesn't reactivate the channel. using an external eq like spoteq31 does affect left right balance but would prefer not to have to use it.
