Bluetooth connect always starts PlayerPro over other media

Using Samsung note 10, whenever i put on earbuds or turn off/on car radio (primary way of muting) PlayerPro resumes playback over any other player that was playing at the time like podcast apps
Have tried pressing Stop on PP or selecting "Quit" from 3 dot menu but PP always turns back on with Bluetooth connect
Under "Headset and Bluetooth A2DP settings" i have enabled the 2 check boxes Bluetooth autostart and Bluetooth autostop
If those boxes are unchecked PP locks up any time i disconnect Bluetooth, and have to force close and restart. The app doesn't freeze but the playback buttons don't do anything
