Every other track plays on mute

When using the app in the background, every other track only plays on mute. If you skip to the next one manually, there's sound again. Same if you move the slider for the position in the track manually.

I use a Pixel 7 with all the latest updates and have had this problem for At least a six weeks.

Also: the function for sending feedback to the developers creates a txt file and does not appear to actually send it.

I confirm that I have similar issue on pixel 7 but only found four albums that exhibit the problem. Others work as expected.

Also disabling Gapless Playback appears to be a workaround.

Hello,

This is a known bug with the pixel phones. You can workaround it by turning off gapless playback in settings / audio / gapless playback.
Google should fix it in an update though (if not already the case).
