Album sort order changed

I've just noticed today that my albums have changed order.
I have them sorted by artist name and groups starting with 'The' appeared under 'T'.
They now appear under their respective letters, that is 'The' is ignored.
The Beatles now appear under 'B', the Cure under 'C'.
I haven't seen anything in the release notes referring to this and the last release was some time ago.
The only thing that has changed is that I was upgraded to Android 11 a few days ago.
I don't mind it, I actually think it's the right way to go and that it should have been an option in the settings.
It's just strange that it's happened now, out of the blue.
