Does Player Pro support Android Auto?

Post by DavideBianchini »

I was wondering if Player Pro supports Android Auto. I would like to be able to play lossless music files in my car (without having to use Bluetooth, which compresses and degrades the sound), so it is important to be compatible with AA for this reason.

Thank you,

Davide

Hello,

Yes it does since several years. When Android Auto went out.

Has the Android Auto support been dropped?

Been using player Pro for years in the car and now it is no longer available.

It is not an option to add it back as an App and the Play store no longer shows it as an available application for Android Auto.

Running Android 12 with version 5.26 of Player Pro. This is a big feature gone for me:(

Edit: It had been missing for a few days. Now again visible as an option in the "customise launcher". Still not showing on the play store in the Android app section.
