Bug in Android 16 - One Ui 8.0 update s25 ultra usa
I have been updating all my mp3 files with lyrics lately and had no issues last week but now that I have the new Samsung update - android 16 one ui 8.0 everytime I update a song with lyrics the playerpro library is creating a duplicate of the same artist with a duplicate of the album so they need to joined together somehow. I hope it can be done in an update easily enough, as it is annoying to see the same artist and same album twice split up between songs that have lyrics updated and songs that do not have lyrics updated.

Re: Bug in Android 16 - One Ui 8.0 update s25 ultra usa
I have exactly the same problem after updating to Android 16 - One Ui 8.0 on Samsung S24 FE. Whenever I replace a song with a new version (after modifying tags a bit), duplicates of the album and artist appear in the respective tabs. And in the folder tab, the folders with such albums don't have the album cover displayed and it is impossible to set one, although inside the folder all the songs have album cover. Moreoever, now whenever I use sorting tracks by title in playlists, the newly copied songs are placed in the end of the letter. For example, consider a playlist sorted by title with song titles as follows:
Ru
Sa
Sc
Se
Sh
Si
Sk
Sl
So
Sq
Su
Sw
Sy
Ta
Now consider I have modified songs with names Sc, Se, Sh, So. Then the order will be like as follows:
Ru
Sa
Si
Sk
Sl
Sq
Su
Sw
Sy
Sc
Se
Sh
So
Ta
The same way the sorting works in the Tracks tab.
This all is very annoying. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. With Android 15, everything was working properly.
