No audio when transitioning to next song

I am having the exact same problem that Joto reported last week. If I am listening to a complete album, the first song plays perfectly. It then sequences to the next song, and the timeline shows that it is playing. However there is no audio. If I then rewind the second song, the audio will play. To elaborate a bit further: I think this behavior began when I got rid of my old Pixel 5 and transferred everything to my brand new Pixel 10. When I made the switch, I did not specifically download a new app or a new license. But my songs/albums were there and I was able to start playing music. On rare occasions Player Pro will play the audio for a subsequent song but that is unusual. Then it goes back to the bad behavior. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app several times and it has not made any difference. This behaviour is manifest whether I am playing the songs natively on the phone or if I am Bluetoothing the music to some other device.
